changing directory?

I'd like to change my site from being www.mysite.com/demo to www.mysite.com/store

Can I just change the /demo folder name? Or will there be files and databases I will need to update as well?

You shouldn't have any problems, that I know of.

1. Put your store in Maintenance mode.
2. Change the name of the folder from demo to store.
3. Change file permissions on /includes/configure.php to 755
4. Change file permissions on /admin/includes/configure.php to 755
5. Edit both files and change all instances of demo to store. Don't change anything in the database area of either file. For example, if your database is called demo, I would suggest leaving it as such. You can always work on that another time.
6. Change file permissions on both configure.php files back to 444 (you will need to use your cPanel to change back to 444.
7. Take store out of Maintenance.

That should do it for you. If for some reason this doesn't work, you can always change things back very easily.
