Cannot open file-error message

Please help!
I've installed zencart V1.3.8a, upon logging into my host, it's asking to download a file but it's unknown what type of file.

this is the error message I get;
[Cannot open file - it may have been renamed, moved, or deleted since it was downloaded]

I can open it in wordpad, and read the php scripts - I believe it is.

Done some research and learned that this is a MIME type; application/x-httpd-php
I have looked into the apache handlers and all packages are installed.
Also check MIME types and it shows php packages are installed, as well.

Where can I solve this issue, so that I can view the newly installed shopping cart and start configuring as needed to then use it?

I am new to the shopping cart; the server is a UNIX, PHP version 5.2.5
