Header not working ...

I think I've gone through every FAQ and tutorial related to this and have done all suggested and I just can not get my header to show up! No matter what template I change to it stays the same ... it just won't come back, it was there and now it's gone after changing some color codes. If I can't get the header to come back I'd be fine with just adding text up there, something to identify the page, although I'd really prefer the image I created.

Check includes/languages/english/YOUR_TEMPLATE/header.php and let us know what the values are in:

my template isn't showing in includes/languages/english ... just classic is there

ok i've pretty much got it working but now i have text over my header ... how do I get rid of this?
