i've downloaded firefox and the developers kit but it's still not helping my problem ... nothing appears to be wrong with my code to where the header should be there and there should be no purple ... help please :-D

There's somthing very strange about your template and stylesheet.

Colorzilla says that the purple in your sidebox headers is #813852, but that doesn't appear in your CSS, unless it's an image.

Did you design this template, or get it from somewhere?

When you change back to the 'classic' template, what happens?

somebody had created my 1st look for me but I am wanting to change it ... i noticed there is a burgandy.png file in the coding (don't remember where i saw it now) and i wonder if that is what is causing the problem?

my second big issue is where the heck did my header go? that one is bugging me because all i did is change color codes and replaced the header in the FTP.

I have a similar colour problem - can see a colour I don't want but can't find it anywhere in the stylesheet. Any chance you can remember how you fixed it?

Someone just helped me solve the text colour issue. I had an extra letter in the hex code number

Looking at your header with Web Developer, it looks like your logo is smushed up in a small area about 30px high. Size and image are defined in includes/languages/english.php

I think it's better not to use .png images in Zencart - I have better luck with .gif and .jpg.

Bottom line, since you haven't done anything all that extreme, I'd recommend that you start over and create a custom template from the 'classic' version and try again.

ok yeah that scares me lol i really have close to no idea what i am doing and seeing as the header is my last problem (that i can tell) it seems even scarier to start over

as for being able to see my header i don't see it at all, not even squished up i don't think my firefox is working right showing the site as it looks totally different in IE and AOL
