Looked around, but did not see a board specific to meta tags so hope ok to post here.
I went into the Includes/languages/english/meta_tags_php
Edited in title name, tag line, and put some key words in.
This is how it looks from within the meta_tags_php file

I must have done something wrong, but can't figure out why when I view my source page it looks like this. Everything looks wrong. sort of double up and extra words that I did not include.

Can someone instruct me on how to make my meta_tags_php back to original.
Since I have only listed a couple of items (with meta tags) in the store and this being my first attempt at editing overall site meta, I would like to just get it back to original.
Includes/languages/english/meta_tags_php
From reading another thread apparently it ended up working for the Original Poster to make these changes for home title page,description and keywords from within the /includes/languages/english/mytemplate/meta tag instead of where I have from.
So could use a little help figuring out how to make the meta_tags_php back to original.
Help??

download your current version from sourceforge, extract it, and upload the file to your host.

I did not understand Sourceforce..
But it clicked with me what you are getting at.
So, I downloaded my version from ZC and extracted.
Before I upload the php folder, should I delete the existing one first and then upload?
Just want to be sure I don't mess up. I am not a whiz at this.

Just a tip, but next time, create new template folders for your cart, naming them something other than "default" or "classic", copy any files you wish to change into those folders, then switch to that template (there's a tutorial on here somewhere for much more information on how to do that). Now, any time you want to switch back to the "vanilla" install, you just switch back to the default template and it will undo all of your tweaks. The only time this becomes an issue is at upgrade time, when you'll have to do some manual file editing if you have lots of changes to your cart in your personal folders..... I hope I didn't just make this too confusing for you...... It sounded better in my head than it came out....
