I just did a fresh install of 1.3.8, and even though Credit Card (offline processing) is disable, an option still appear in the step 2 of the checkout to add credit card details.
There seems to be a mistake somewhere, but I can't figure out where.
Help! :)

PayPal Website Payments Pro *is* a credit card module. Thus you will see credit card fields on your payment page when you have that module enabled.

That means there is something wrong with Paypal Website payments pro as I am getting the following error message if I enter credit card details.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but the credit card you entered is not one that we accept. Please use a different credit card or verify that the details you entered are correct, or contact the store owner for assistance.
Any help appreciated

Please disregard my last post. I had disabled all types of credit cards in the config section.
I just enabled all paypal accepted cards and all is good.

Well, that answers my question actually.
I was under the impression that Paypal Websites payment pro wouldn't have the credit card fields, that it would be on the Paypal site, but I understand now, it's an integration thing.

Hi
I have the same problem. I am using pay pal only but it shows fields for credit card entry and pay pal. Not using pay pal pro just regular.
IPN is configured. I have tried with pay pals cards on and off. I need to get that out or edit page with a note. Please use Pay Pal Only. Don't know how to edit php can't even find the page.
