Not able to connect to Database -- running IIS on XP

Hi,

I am new to Zen Cart. I am using :
Os : Windows XP
PHP : Version 5.2.5
MySQL : Version 5.0

But after deploying my application on IIS. when i run ZC_INSTALL then after accepting the license i got follwing errors.

1. CURL not compiled into PHP
2. MySql SUPPORT = OFF

I have tried every combination given in support to edit php.ini file to make connectivity with MySQL BUT still not able to get database support.
Please help me regarding this.

Perhaps you should use a packaged kit instead of trying to assemble all the pieces manually to make up a webserver of your own.

XAMPP is a packaged setup that's easy to install for personal offline use.

Otherwise you're going to have to study and learn all the additional setup needs for running your own webserver. Such as: when installing MySQL you also need to install the MySQL Connector for PHP if you want to allow PHP to know that MySQL is available.

Hi,

For personal use i have successfully installed using XMAPP.

But its a client project. So i need to deploy it on some server.
Please tell me the best way to deploy it on server without using XMAPP and will it involve any deployment cost..??
