Recalculate shipping after discount coupon applied

Guys any luck on this. I have better together installed, but Shipping charges are calculated before discount, which make the shipping free over certain amount, which is not correct. how can we have shipping calculated after discount is calculated on sub total?

Check the sort orders in your admin's Modules->Order Totals. It sounds like you want the Sort Order value for "Shipping" to be a larger number than the Sort Order value for "Better Together", that way the shipping charge is calculated after the discount is applied.

I did try changing the sort order, but it didn't work. Better together has sort order of 292, and I changed Shipping sort order to 299, but no luck.
Just FYI, I am using version 1.5.1. Any other suggestion?

So what is the code or what is the mod (software mod/plugin) that can do this?

I am looking for the ability to set the Free Shipping based on the Total, AFTER all discounts, coupons, etc., has been applied.

Meaning, if the Free Shipping target is $100, I DO NOT want to offer Free Shipping based on total order of $100 BEFORE all discounts, but to only offer Free Shipping AFTER all discounts are applied - in other words, the order total is $100 in actual paid for price for all items in a order AFTER any and all discounts are applied.

The code or mod for this request is pertinent and would solve this issue for many of us who would like this feature. If this feature is "Free", great! (Provide the code in the forum.) If not free, then direct us to the URL or location where it can be purchased.

To moderator: Please allow the link if the feature/mod needs to be purchased. How else would we know where to get the solution to this?!

There's no single shrinkwrapped mod that will do this; the changes that are required depend on a bunch of different factors.

I have downloaded the latest version (v1.5.6c), and with the testing I've done so far, this problem seems to have gone away... am I correct with this assumption, or is it purely a fluke?
