Shipping costs different per item

Is it possible to set up a different shiping cost per item?

The problem is each of my items are shipped in different sized boxes which cost different prices.

I also sell world wide and charge different prices per country

How can i set these two requirements up in zencart?

Im really stuck and need a solution asap please

I was able to tackle your first issue by following these instructions.

I believe you second issue would be solved by creating different zones. I am not exactly sure though.

hi nigel. First off this worked great! i now can charge 1quid per 1 weight unit. The only problem is items now show how heavy the are. any idea how to turn them off?

actually im back again! how do i remove the mention of weight at the checkout.

e.g when i use zones it says something like "Shipping to GB (1 x 6.97lb(s))" how do i remove this to just say Shipping to GB

Display Number of Boxes and Weight Status
Display Shipping Weight and Number of Boxes?

0= off
1= Boxes Only
2= Weight Only
3= Both Boxes and Weight

great almost their now! :) just have one last problem. When you click shopping cart. it displays your items in your cart, the only problem is above them it says "Total Items: 1 Weight: 5lbs Amount: £24.99"

Can see the setting to turn this off.

ok ive sussed that one out as well but now i have another problem!! ARGH

The weight of an item is configured so 1lb = £1 postage cost.
Ok now heres the problem!
How do i chagre an extra % for shipping to a different country using Zone Rates.
e.g total is £10 for item "X" but to ship abroad i want to chage 30% more

$order->delivery['country_id'] = STORE_COUNTRY

to determine if the country id on the order is the same or different ...
