    Default Sort Dropdown Menu

    Hi there,

    Version 1.3.h

When you click on 'New Products' or 'All Products' there is a drop down menu to choose how you would like products sorted for display. I would like to remove 'Model' as one of the menu values. Is this possible?

Also, I am curious, what precisely is being sorted when you choose 'Product - desc' from the drop down menu? Is this the product description? If so, that does not seem to work.

    Thank you for your help.

Desc is descending order (versus ascending order).

Talk about a duh moment. Thanks for clarifying that.

Now, does anybody have any illumination on my first question?

The dropdown is built in the template file:
    /includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_modules_listing_display_order.php

that you can copy to your templates and overrides directory ...

To remove the Manufactuer, you can comment it out ...

The sort order of the choices is built in:
    /includes/modules/listing_display_order.php

that you can copy to your templates and overrides directory ...

and alter anything in there that you need ...

Should you need to change the language, that would be in your:
    /includes/languages/english.php

which you can copy to your templates and overrides directory, if you have not aleady done so, and customize the define statements for the dropdown ...
