Default CAPTCHA again: update_2_*.sql - what for?

in the root directory of captcha_ttf, there are 3 files that are nowhere to be mentioned in the readme.txt or any other instructions that come with the CAPTCHA zip file.

    What are these for?

I know what to do with the install.sql (because it is mentioned in the instructions) but what do I do with:
    update_2_1.sql, update_2_2.sql, update_2_3.sql ?

    Thank you, Joe

Default Re: CAPTCHA again: update_2_*.sql - what for?

place them in your httpdocs folder, and then the includes in includes etc.

just copy and paste the sql in the sql patch, the other ones i tryed to install but just gave me some errors.

btw this didn't work for me beacuse we have SEO URL module on our site, and this Captcha module doesn't get along with it!

This is inaccurate. The 3 files mentioned by the OP:
    • update_2_1.sql
    • update_2_2.sql
    • update_2_3.sql

Have no purpose and can be deleted. They are already included in install.sql and it seems that they are leftovers from experiments/tests conducted by the developer of this add-on.

Copy & Paste only install.sql only! Of course the other ones would give you errors, because they are incomplete and are not intended for execution via the 'Install SQL Patches' box.

I haven't tried the SEO URL module yet, so thank you for this heads up. For now, the CAPTCHA add-on module works great for me.
