Can't create bulleted product description

I am uploading product to my site and when I add product description info in bulleted form (like below), it comes out as one paragraph, (like below).

Can someone tell me how to remedy this situation? I tried inserting a break <br>, but this didn't help either. Is there some setting that I need to enable?

Firstly, you can't type up your description in MSWord, or even notepad, and expect the "structure" to be rendered on a web page.

Formatting for a web page needs to be configured using appropriate HTML tags. The formatting code used by other text editors (such as MS Word) is very different from HTML, and a web browser will not recognise it.

For a bulleted list, the basic HTML tags you use are:-

<ul>, <li>, and to close... </ul> and </li>

eg:

<ul>
 <li>first bullet point</li>
 <li>second bullet point</li>
 <li>third bullet point</li>
</ul>
