Hi
Tried this fix, but disabled products keep showing up in the New Product box. Have reset files back to original code & tried twice, to no avail.
I am Running v1.3.8
anyone any ideas?

Check that you do not have an override for this that also needs to be fixed ...

Duh - wasn't happening on main page, only in categories - just needed to change the new_products.php file in the modules/custom_template.

I have an instance of disabled products showing up in New Products for (insert month) in a sub-category...
I implemented the changes as outlined in the Known Bug fixes http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=82619
I also made the appropriate changes in my overrides...

Looks like a typo where you made the change ... it is triggering an error when you click on the New Product ...
Recheck the changes that you made ...

Looks like this error is coming from my /includes/modules/custom_template/new_products.php
I copied and pasted this code below from the Known Bug fixes thread into my /includes/module/custom_template/new_products.php
I've poured thru this so much I'm seeing double - do you by chance see what syntax I'm missing or somehow added?PHP Code:

Can you get the Free Software Add On for the Debug Tool and install that on your site to get the full error message?
This appears to be an issue with the product not found as I can reproduce this with any products_id that is not real ...
As to the new products fix ... check if you have fixed the correct file ... as in look to see if you have the file in your templates and overrides and perhaps fixed the default file instead ...

Hi. I'm using 1.3.8a and I'm having this same problem. I looked at the known bugs link you mentioned, but I couldn't find anything on disabled products showing. What can I do?

What are your settings on the Configuration ... Maximum Values ...
New Product Listing - Limited to ...
Limit the New Product Listing to
0= All Products
1= Current Month
7= 7 Days
14= 14 Days
30= 30 Days
60= 60 Days
90= 90 Days
120= 120 Days
