What happens if you switch to the Classic Template? Does it work properly now?
If it works on the Classic Template then that means your template is not using the built in logic and doing whatever it wants ...

I did the bug fix. Now I can't login to my admin page. I'm not sure if it's because of the bug fix or because I had to upgrade my ftp software (Fetch 5.5) because the version I had suddenly wouldn't work so I couldn't upload the fixed page. The permissions for the admin folder are set to 755 so I don't think that changed. Help?

The bug fix #3 should only break your shop, if you did it incorrectly and not your admin ...

The shop still works.
I'm not sure if the bug is still there. Before I did the bug fix, I changed the New Product Listing - Limited to ... from 0 to 1. It's not showing the test product I added this morning and set to disabled, but it wasn't showing it before I did the bug fix. I was going to add another product and do a test purchase after the bug fix, but I can't because I can't get to my admin page.
What else would make the admin page blank?

Bad or corrupt files ... missing files ... altered files by hackers ... there are a number of reasons ...
If you think you have not changed anything then I would really check your files on the server with a clean download of Zen Cart to see what may have been altered or added on your site ...
Beyond Compare from scootersoftware.com is a handy program for things like this to compare via an FTP compare of the files on your server with the files on your computer ...

I tried uploading my backup files from a few days ago. It still doesn't work.
It looks like Beyond Compare won't work on my Mac. Is there something comparable that will?
If I do a clean download, is that going to wipe out all my template changes? I don't have time to start over at the very beginning again.

If you download a clean v1.3.8 from here:

You can unzip that into a clean, empty directory on your computer ...
I am not familar with MACs and what software works for comparing files, but perhaps someone else can tell you want to use ...

I compared the files using FileMerge. I can't find any differences other than the ones I made. Is there something in particular I should be looking for? I'm completely stumped and the store is supposed to go live in a week.
