Default I cannot change the currency conversion rate

In admin/localisation/currencies I have two currencies. Slovak Koruna (SKK) with a conversion ratio set to 1.0 which works fine. The problem is that I also want to have Euro as another currency, but I cannot change the conversion ratio to my desired value (which is 0.033194). The system automatically rounds the value to no decimal values (in my case 0, I tried to change it to 30.3465 and it gave me 30.0). I have no idea where the problem could be, I haven't installed any mods so far.

    Thank you for assistance.

What are your currency settings, for each of your desired currencies?

Look at (for example) the number of decimal places (usually 2) and make sure your separators for the Decimal Point and the Thousands Point are not the same symbol.

It is exactly as you said. I have "2" for number of decimal places and "," as the decimal symbol (without the quotes obviously). Now I've realized that the same thing happens for the SKK currency, but as it is my default one, it's ratio is easily 1.0. But I still cannot set the EUR ratio to 0.033something. It only allows integers. I read somewhere that this is a rare database bug, could this be it? Anyway, I appreciate your reply.

do you have "," for the decimal separator and "," for the thousands separator?

Try making the thousands separator a space, not a comma. So your prices will look like this, for example:-

    SKK 10 599,95

Yes that's exactly what I have. Although I have nothing for prefix but "Sk" as postfix (that's the correct format of our currency). I have also tried "." and "," as decimal symbols in the ration, but nothing seems to affect the outcome. Is there some other setting in the menu somewhere, that could also influence this somehow? Some tax settings or something...

OK I've solved this using a bit unorthodox method, but did it anyway. I created a new currency (euro), set everything as I wanted except the conversion ratio which still didn't work. Then I manually edited a record in the "currencies" table in the database. It works just fine now.
