Default Using PayFlow Pro - Getting Errors on Checkout

    Hello all-

I am having trouble completing transactions using PayFlow Pro gateway. Here is the error message I get upon checkout:

We were not able to process your order. Please select an alternate payment method, or contact the store owner for assistance. (12)
    Here are the details:

    - Store address: http://www.heavenonmainstreet.com/catalog - NOTE: this store is not public yet.

    - The store uses PayFlow Pro, but we currently only accept American Express, which is the card I am using for testing.

    - I installed the PayFlow Pro module, and entered the appropriate info in the admin panel. The module is currently in Sandbox testing mode. Also, I have SSL up and running.

    - My web host claims that cURL is installed on the server, but I have no idea how to tell if it is communicating properly with my Zen store.

If anyone can give me some help or insight, I would greatly appreciate it. I am so close to being done and this roadblock is very frustrating!

    Thanks!
    -Steve

Also, here's some additional info from the ERROR email that was sent to my account. I don't think that the card would be declined since it is a new card which I just activated today and it has a $0 balance...

Please note that I have censored some info.

    Dear store owner,
An error occurred when attempting to initiate a PayPal Express Checkout
transaction. As a courtesy, only the error "number" was shown to your
customer. The details of the error are shown below.

Is the PayPal account in your name? You can't send money to yourself.

No, it's under the store owner's name and email address. Also, it is a PayFlow Pro account, not regular PayPal...not sure if that makes a difference.

Ok, I called up American Express and there is definitely nothing wrong with the card and they said that they have not declined any transactions. So, the info isn't even getting to them...so it must be either PayFlow or ZenCart. I checked Payflow and there is no recent activity on the account. So I obviously screwed up in store setup somewhere.

Any ideas? I'm desperate for help!

Error #12 is a "Declined" message, and that's coming to you from Payflow.
So, if you disagree with what Payflow is telling you, then you should be talking to your Payflow account manager to have them explain why it's being denied. Maybe they've configured your account wrong.
