Canada Post bug in french

Hi there,

I have CanadaPost installed but when the customer choose this shipping option and then click Continue Checkout button then it only refresh the checkout_shipping page... it never reaches the step 2 of 3 !

It was previously working well... but I uninstalled the module in the admin console and then re-installed it again. As long as I know, I put the same configuration...

What's the problem ?



One other thing...

When customer's cart have virtual product (downloadable) mixed with non-virtual products, Canada Post module calculate also shipping for virtual products...

Is it config related?

P.S.: product_is_always_free_shipping set to 1 or 2 didn't fixed the problem.

Hi,

Setting product_is_always_free_shipping to 1 fixed the problem for virtual products.

However, I found a bug related to translation:

In Shipping Profile on http://sellonline.canadapost.ca/, the french translation for Expedited "Shipping Rate Method" is Colis accélérés.

This translation seems to be sent by parameter from the Canadapost server and it's HTML encoded so it breaks the code so:

Under (http://invocation.ca/index.php?main_...ng&language=fr) source, we can see...

<input type="hidden" name="shipping" value="canadapost_Colis
acc&#xE9;l&#xE9;r&#xE9;s, 2008-07-31" />

And under english section...

<input type="hidden" name="shipping" value="canadapost_Expedited,
2008-07-31" />

Who should we advise for such things?

Seems we have $quotes[$i]['methods'][$j]['id'] at line 110 of tpl_checkout_shipping_default.php which is HTML formatted.


Someone knows where this is populated ?

I think this bad formatted string come from their server... can someone confirm?

My quick fix is currently to choose other shippings option... those without special typo

Apparently, this module has been updated, with a fix for our problem:
