card payment / paypal

Hi guys,

Some of my customers are not familiar with paypal. They do not know that you do not need a paypal account to pay via card.

Is there a way (or where) can add next to the word pay via paypal (SLASH CARD)

Using ZC ver 3.1.8a, This is what I did to:

/includes/languages/english/modules/payment/paypal.php

Then as it is a LANGUAGE file, I saved the edited version to my over-rides folder:

/public_html/includes/languages/english/modules/payment/MY_TEMPLATE/paypa.php

im using
Zen Cart 1.3.7

Database Patch Level: 1.3.7

at the moment...too scared to upgrade in case i mess it up! lol

Fill a shopping basket

Register as a customer, and go as far as stage 2 of checkout.

You will see my customised message under the paypal logo.

In version 1.3.7 you could try the following:

Open this file to edit:

includes/languages/english/modules/payment/paypal.php

Find this DEFINE and change the text to something like I have below:-

define('MODULE_PAYMENT_PAYPAL_TEXT_CATALOG_TITLE', 'We currently take payments using Credit Cards / PayPal.');

It's recommended that you save the edited file to your custom folder.

I think that this seems to be further obfuscated in 1.3.8 so I can only gather than PayPal don't want the zencart team to make this option possible as much as possible from here on in.
