How to set the From field of emails?

Hi,

Emails sent via "Contact Us" or "Ask a Question" are set with From=<our-email-address>. If we reply this message from Outlook then the sender's email is indeed set in the To field, but we would like it to be set also in the From field of the original message. How can it be configured this way?

Doing that will likely cause those emails to be treated as spam and thus never get delivered.

Technically the emails *are* being sent from your store, not from the customer ... as far as the webserver and mailserver are concerned.


If you insist on trying to change it, you can alter the parameters of the zen_mail() function call in the header_php.php file for either of those pages.
