Additional Images not showing up

Hi Guys,

I have Tabbed Pro contribution installed without any problems. However, the additional images just does not work.

The Main Product file name is ProductName_4.gif . I have the same file name ProductName_4_01.gif , ProductName_4_02.gif to the /images/large/ProductName folder. No luck in getting the images load.. anything I miss out?

Additional images are not Large images. Large image would be the image that shows when you "Click to see Larger image"

Additional images need to be in the root image folder (I think)

I tried putting it at /images/ and /images/ProductName folder ( previously I have uploaded the Main Product images to /images/ProductName ) and nothing shows up as well. I have found the KB on http://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=58 to study more but still no luck. I am using zj_silver template .

Well, I can see from my store, I have 1 product that picks up on additional images:

my main image name is "basket.gif"
the additional images shows 2 other images:
"basketweave.gif" and "basketani.gif"

Maybe it doesn't like the numbering thing you are doing.

I made up some further test by using another product which does not have numbers as part of the image file name.

The main product file name is Product.gif , I tried making the image and rename it as Productabc.gif and put it at /images/Product and follow by /images, try reloading the page, nothing shows up.

Additional Images are defined with an underscore within the file name. As you are already using an underscore in the Main image for the Product, I think there is some confusion.

Rename you main image to: ProductName4.gif
Rename Additional images to: ProductName4_01.gif , ProductName4_02.gif

Put all images in the same dir.


Just re-read this thread and now I'm confused.

Your first post said: "The Main Product file name is ProductName_4.gif"
Your last post said: "The Main Product file name is Product.gif"

So take what I posted at apply accordingly.

Thanks for the heads up. Okie. I have followed your instruction by doing a test on the other product which does not have Number as part of the image file name.

The Product Main Image has the file ProductName.gif in /images/Product folder. I have duplicated a copy of ProductName.gif to ProductName_01.gif . The page shows up the "Additional Images" tab but no images shows up. If I remove the ProductName_01.gif file name, the "Additional Images" tab will not shows up when I reload the page. I have "Global Additional Images Tab" enabled for the TPP settings in admin configuration.

I tried browsing the page with IE6 / IE7, Firefox 2.x and 3.x. Will this be theme related issue?

An "additional images tab" is not stock Zen Cart organization, so your template has modifications to do this. Maybe something in your template is set up wrong.
Can you switch to the Classic template and see if it works?

agreed. First get everything working with your stock zc setup. Then drop in the TPP contrib. All "modules" that appeared before should now be tabified.
