Customizing Contents: Best Method?

Hi all,

Okay... I think that this is a pretty simple method, but not sure what to do. I have on my site (http://www.bugstumper.com/shopping) original paintings, prints and cards. Naturally, each one is a different price. The thumbnails are the same for each product type.

When a user goes to the checkout, he may see the product (i.e. painting called a Wall between Us) three times with three different prices. How do I distinguish them?

One thought is to create a non-editable attribute and preset that attribute for each product.

The second thought is to put the product type in the name of the product. I.e. A Wall Between Us (Painting).

Is there a better method?

Try in your product description title as you have already done for the painting

Painting = A Wall Between Us (Painting)

Print = A Wall Between Us

Cards = A Wall Between Us
