Default Number of steps to purchase

From the categories page I want to place add to cart buttons to each of the products listed, and I don't want the 'Add Selected Products to Cart' buttons.

I also want to prevent people from clicking on a product to enter the individual product listing.

I am trying to reduce the number of clicks a user needs to make to get the products purchased and there is no additional information they need in the individual product listings.

Thanks. That fixed the add to cart bit.

Is there any way to prevent people from going to the individual product page?

Why should you stop them if they want more information about the products?
Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.

Because there will not be any additional information on the next page, so the extra step is not necessary

You'll have to do extensive custom coding in a multitude of places if you want to completely remove the existence of product-information pages which would inform your customers of the actual real details of your products.
At the present time, Zen Cart is not built to avoid that possibility.

Prevent them, no, at least not easily, as DrByte said.

When I did something similar some time ago, I removed the <a href tags in, I believe, product_listing.php. The product info pages were still there, but visitors couldn't click on the product listing to get there.
