Free Shipping based on quantity - for one product only

Is there a module that addresses this? I don't charge shipping on one specific product if wholesale customers order a case or more. I installed the dual-pricing module. It would be nice if this module had that functionality.

This would require customization for this as there isn't anything built-in for 1 product to get free shipping when XX quantity is ordered ...

What shipping module(s) are you currently using on your site?

I'm using the default in Admin where shipping is free over $XX. For now, we'll just go that route.

Has anyone found a work around for this. I have a very competitive product that I would like to offer free shipping when some purchases 12 or more. I currently don't use the shipping by weight so the best idea I could come up with is to give each of the attributes a weight for example 1 then offer free shipping when someone purchases an order that weighs 12 or more.

This should work - the only problem is that it doesn't show the Free Shipping Image. That image looks very sharp and I think is very important.

Any ideas on how to offer free shipping on 1 product based on quantity?

check out Ceon's Advanced Shipper module, it costs $ but it is so so so worth it! We use it and it is 100% flexible and can easily do what you want with buying 12 or more get free shipping. Plus, it will do anything else that you can possibly come up with. Well worth the coin to buy it.
