1.2.7 to 1.3.8 - Use URLs for images?

Hi there...in my old store I used a Gallery integration module to connect my Gallery website to zencart. The integration module inserted the urls of my gallery images into the zencart image input boxes. I never uploaded any files into zencart, it just borrowed my gallery image urls and used those as the images for zencart. When I exported the database via Easy Populate the urls were all there, but the images were broken. Even when I changed the urls to universal urls they still didn't work. Is it possible to use urls linking to images not in the zencart uploads folder without using the integration module? That would save me so much time from uploading each photo.

Is your gallery in the same account/server as the Zen Cart?

if so and depending upon where as this is relative to the top of your web space

You can look at configure.php files and adjust:

define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/');

But you will need to reduce your pointing to only the image name
