    Default Stylesheet class...quick list for what's what on the page

    I saw a "sticky" for a quick way to determine what the css class/id is for the format on your pages. However, it is for Firefox. I do not use Firefox. I have Dreamweaver.

    For instance, I want to change the color of sidebars, backgrounds, certain texts or fonts, etc. Is there a list to know when I see the following class below, I'll know where it is located on the webpage. Meaning, the list will be my "guide/reference check" as I want to modify for a specific part of the page.

    a:visited {
    color: #3300FF;
    text-decoration: none;
    }

    I hope this makes sense.

    Considering that Firefox is available for all three major OS's, is free, and can be configured with all sorts of cool and useful plugins some which will allow you to see the CSS and edit it in real time, why don't you just download and install it?

    (Not to mention the fact that you really need to see how your site appears to all of your potential customers, many of whom use Firefox.)

    The answer to your question is: there is no such list that I've ever seen.

    Dreamweaver is not a browser and FireFox is.

    Dreamweaver is also a WYSIWYG development environment mostly for html development and not php development.

    Just clarifying that a browser is a browser and not a development application

    Your statement that you do not use/have FireFox is of most concern and one should ALWAYS design for the MOST standards compliant browser available for a platform

    Editing....

    I thought I understood Kobra but I saw another thread about Firefox. It mentioned Firebug. Do Firebug and Firefox go together? Are there issues with using Firefox? Is Firefox something that I should be using?

    For instance, Kobra said: [B]one should ALWAYS design for the MOST standards compliant browser available for a platform[B]

    Can you explain this a little bit further for me...sorry for not quite understanding.
