Blank Category Pages after adding products

My cart works fine in that I can add categories and products, if I click the link in 'new products' i can view the product pages i have added.

The problem is that as soon as I have added a product to ANY category, the category disappears. What I mean is that when I click on a category link to a category which has a product I get a blank page and if I view source of that page it is completely empty. Remove products from the category and the link works.

Clicking the New Products link to view what I added takes me to the page I just added, however clicking 'Add to Cart' or any of the other links associated wit hthe product give a completely blank page in jst the same way that the category disappears.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated as I would love to get this up and running over the weekend.

Figured it out... there was a blank line at the end of english.php - clearing that up fixed everything
