Im trying to put an image into the center column on the home page

I have done searches in the forum for this but Im still non the wiser.

Im trying to put an image into the center column on the home page, I have taken the "Zen cart owners manual image" off the page by using the :-

Tools/Defines page editor/Define main_page.php...located in the Admin

This is the line I put in to add an image which I have located in Images file for the current template Im using.

I have the page editor set on Plain text.

I have also tried using the HTMLarea but have not been able to specify the correct URL that the pop up screen asks for.

Any simple way to do this without accesing files hidden deep within the zencart structure tree ?

you could add one of the add-on editors, like FCKeditor, Tinymce, or xinha, you mite finds it easier to edit that page, i find it easy to use one of the above editors, you can find then in the download section.

I took your advice and installed FCKeditor and then uploaded the image straight away no problem.
