Default best way to import customers?

    Hello,
I've read quite a few threads about importing customers but a lot of them seem very complicated.

I need to import a list of customers I have that is in a .csv file, the basic info name, billing address, shipping address, phone, and email address.

I don't mind resending an email to the customers telling them to reset their passwords. But I was wondering what is the quickest and easiest way to just import those basic customer info? I have almost 20,000 customers.

    Thanks for the help.

    Misty,
Does that process that DrByte give pretty easy and straight forward? I don't mind to buy a mod that does it if its easy and quick.
    Thanks!

    Misty,
That thread doesn't have DrByte instructions on how to do the table importing from phpAdmin. The directions are more from somebody else and then DrByte comments on what to watch out for. Are there any step by step instructions to do this without having to figure out exactly what they are talking about? I read through that thread a few times and I can't match up what he is trying to doo.

My import is very simple and I just need step by step instructions. Please someone help

    Thanks.

I don't mind using phpMyAdmin to do the upload, but I don't see instructions for how to do that and what tables to modify. I'm very new to this and don't want to mess anything up. I just want to transfer the customer information, then somehow manually or automatically create random passwords for them and then send them an email to let them know their passwords tell them to change when they login to their account.

    Thanks for helping!

Not used myself, but suggest you investigate
    http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showpo...74&postcount=2
and use TEST site to experiment...there may be mod
in download section or you can advertise for custom mod
    in commercial section.
