installation stopped at database setup on WAMP for XP

New install. using wamp on windows xp pro/
current version of apache 2.11.6

sqlitemanager1.2.0
running on local host. Followed directions, I do not have MySQL loaded on machine.

\Do I need this for Zen to work?
Problem: I run install, and when it gets to database setup installation just stops.
What did I do wrong.

OOps I do have Mysql installed on wamp for windows. ver.5.0.5.

checked error log no known errors.
in mysql I have a database named zen that i am trying to attach to on install.
checked all known areas for problems, no error logs showing up error logs that I am looking at are: C:\wamp\www\zen\catalog\cache
