Duplicate description and duplicate subcategory etc

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong area...but I don't know where else to put it. Can't find another place to post.

I am live on the net and can't get four things out of my pages. I'm using the latest version of Zen cart.

1) Almost all my description of products are doubled
I've read everywhere about it and all I find info about is when they use two languages. I don't have that.

2) My subcategory listings are double as well when I take out the larger image.

3) My list of attributes refuse to go horizontal (I have quite a long list) I have attribute images per row 2
and am using image style 3 with radio buttons. I have tried every combination to get it to work.

4) I can't get my larger image to pop up. I installed image handler and found it didn't work after that this wouldn't work. I am not using it

What is happening is you are using FireFox ... mystic aren't I?

And some of your Categories have images and some do not ... truely psychic eh?

Those without images are showing the
Name of the Category
Alt Tag for the (missing) image of the Category (which is the same as the Name of the Category)

So ... it looks like you have doubles on somethings ... scary, ain't I?

I am using firefox but it does the same in Internet Explorer.
Where do I remove the alt tag?

I read everything you sent on all the pages but they don't answer my questions. I might have to delete the larger pictures if I can't get them to work.

Where can I manually change my attributes because they won't go vertically?

It's in the description of the product that is duplicated that really bothers me. It looks very unprofessional.

Any other suggestions...please. I appreciate it.

In addition to the alt tags showing duplicate names, you appear to have either an add-on or something in the listing file showing the description in the middle and below the row of the product ...

There is a section in the listing where you can alter the display as well as an add-on that changes this ...

Do you know if you are using any add-ons?

If you switch to Classic Template, do you see one or two descriptions?

I've taken the larger picture off completely, thanks. So that solves that.

I'm sorry but what is the listing file? Where is that found?

I did switch to the classic and there is only one description.
My attributes are still in one big long line though.

I have as add ons...testimonial manager, bellabook, wish list (which doesn't work, recently viewed items, and I had image handler.

Now what...what is the best step to take?

As this is a template issue, which you tested by switching to Classic and having the problem correct itself, you would really need to look at your templates and override files to see what the problem is ...

OK.
When I was in the classic, the double product problem was gone.
But the "larger image" did not get fixed. Neither did the attribute being in a long list get fixed.

What are your thoughts? I am at a loss.

I would compare files with something like Beyond Compare from scootersoftware.com to see if you can see where the differences are in the default and override files ...

Which files am I to compare....so I don't have to waste time?
Just the ones is "my" folder?

If you used a Clean download of Zen Cart v1.3.8 in one directory ... and your site in another directory ... you can just let the program find all the differences for you ...
