Banner Mgr Not Working

I have tried to start using this banner manager and I am having one hell of a time. I think I am doing everything I am supposed to do. Please advise....

I went into the Layout Boxes Controller and Enabled

sideboxes/banner_box.php
sideboxes/banner_box2.php
sideboxes/banner_box_all.php

Then I went into Configuration Layout Settings and Found the

Header Position 1
Header Position 2
Etc....

At each Position I entered one of the banner groups... specifically here I am trying to replace the Header Position 1...



I went in and Clicked on Tools> Banner Manager>

I enabled the banner that I wanted displayed and scheduled it to start today....

What the heck else do I have to do?


I am using the latest version of ZenCart.
I am hosted on Go Daddy.
Currently there is a red warning banner on my cart.....wierd..

Yes, I don't mind mentioning what this warning says... it is telling me to delete the installation directory from the D: Drive on the Hosting platform.... Warning: Installation directory exists at: D:\Hosting\3129513\html\zencart\zc_install. Please remove this directory for security reasons. I have totell you... I assumed that it was for the hosting company...

You'll have to delete the ZC_install directory from D:\Hosting\3129513\html\zencart\.

Hello there and thank you.

I have deleted the directory and thank god, the red warning has dissapeared, but still, not any of my banners... none of those pre-loaded nor those that I have loaded will appear. I can turn the Header position 1 on and off and I can see a page adjustment... but no banner... what could be happening?

I'm going to try to work with a side box banner and see if I can get those working but these header banners are just puzzling me silly.

For anyone that is monitoring my progress here, I have been able to get the side box banners to work no problem but I can not, for the life of me get the header or footer banners to work. What am I doing wrong? I have turned on the banners, I have positioned the banners in the right banner group, I have placed the banner group in the header 1 position, now what? This is just not right. Something isn't right here.... please help.

Could you check the name of your image and see if: cosmetics.html

should be something like cosmetics.jpg or cosmetics.gif or some other image name?
