Smart header background

I am trying to have a different logo backgound in the header for different categories and i have downloaded the header background mod. the tpl_main_page/php, the stylesheet_smartbg.css and the images have been uploaded to the zen site where i have only changed the image code in the style sheet.
It's not working! please can someone help!
would there be something turned off perhaps when customising my site?

There are no admin settings that would affect this. Did you follow all the instructions for changing /your_template/ folder names to the name of your own template? Can you post a link to your site?

It was just luck that your post was "new" while I was online - it would be better to post in the Smart Backgrounds support thread, where I will be sure to see it.
