Trouble using define pages editor

I am attempting to add info via the define page editor, i.e adding retail cutomers names and addresses, websites, etc. First, the editor will not allow me to single space my entries. If I cut and paste from Word, the editor places the 4 line info all over the place on the page. What gives? I am going crazy!!! This seems like it would be a simple task to accomplish. Any thoughts?

If I cut and paste from Word...

Try copying your text from word and pasting into notepad first. Then copy and paste from notepad into the define pages editor.

Word will add formatting and can cause problems. Copying from notepad will ensure that you are only pasting plain text.
