    Default Add search box to EZpages header bar

    Hi,

    I searched this on the forums but couldn't find this same situation.

    my site is at: www.sandstoneclothing.com/shop/

    Is it possible to add the search box to the EZ pages header bar? What I'm trying to do is get all of the links at the top of my page onto one row directly under my logo area. Alternatively, would it be easier for me to move all of my EZpages links to the header bar and move the header bar under the logo area? How would I do that? I'm not even sure where to start.

    Thanks for your help!

    The nav and ezpages are separated mainly because the nav is "live and growing" depending on whether there's something in the cart.

    You look like you want to use the EZpages to present what is already available in a sidebox.

    In the navsupp is another "interesting" of the unordered list.

    Moving the two Lines of Links together is a matter of searching for the headerWrapper and its contents -- navMainWrapper, logoWrapper, and navEZPagesTop. Move those three around as needed.

    Thanks for getting me started.

    I don't understand what you mean here:
    In the navsupp is another "interesting" of the unordered list.
    Can you elaborate?

    Also, in which file should I search for the headerWrapper and its contents -- navMainWrapper, logoWrapper, and navEZPagesTop?

    Thanks!

    start by looking in your stylesheet.css its on your server , open it in wordpad and do a search for those words, sometimes just the beginning of the term is best since word has an issue of finding the exact phrase
    .... and you will find where they are, and there settings to be altered as you need.

    Thanks for the hints, webgalore.

    Dbltoe, I don't mean to be dense here, but I'm just not getting what you're talking about with the navsupp. I should start by saying that I'm not yet clear on what the navsupp refers to. Are you saying that I'm doing something wrong somewhere with the navsupp? I don't recall changing any code dealing with that; perhaps it came from the free template I'm using (mihluna)?

    Where can I go to look at the code for this and is it something that I need to fix?

    I use to use Web Developers Tool for Firefox but find firebug far more helpful for me.

    Using firebug, if you click on Inspect and then click just to the left of Home in the navsupp, you'll see this in the expanded html
    <div id="navSupp">
    <ul>
    <li>
    <a href="http://www.sandstoneclothing.com/shop/">Home</a>
    </li>
    <li>

    </li>
    </ul>
    The Home is provided by the system. Someone has added the HUGE <li> with six links inside it and had to create separators to go between them.

    Not an efficient use of code to say the least.

    Just like the About Us, Login, Home mixture in the EZpages. These are just plans for disaster on upgrade.
