Sounds like you need to run the Installer and do an Upgrade on your database ...

I did the same thing, with fantastico. and it totally ruined my store, I spent 2 days redoing all of my templates and codes, and NOW, I am totally afraid to do this database thing, as I tried it once before and lost every thing. Im not real familiar with phpmyadmin, so I have no clue what I am doing. I read the html that comes with the package and its very confusing to me. can anybody give good instructions that somebody who isnt familiar can understand better?

"Your database appears to need patching to a higher level."

That msg. should not be a cause of worry, because all you need to do is re-upload the 'zc_install' dir. then make like you were doing an Install. You will come to the 3rd page page and at the bottom you have two options: Install or Update Database.

Choose 'Update Database' and follow instructions on the next page. Once you are done use the the 'Finished with Updates' button. Then remove the 'zc_install' dir.

Note: do a database backup first so you'll be prepared if anything goes wrong.

Clicking on the "FAQ" link at the top of this page and searching for "backup" brings up several articles, the first being this one: https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/i...hp?article=103
