Adding pdf links to products

I want to provide links to product data sheets and instructions to a many of my products.

I've search for a way to do it from within Zen Cart, and indeed have searched for a third party modules but alas I've found nothing.

Yes this is an option, but I'd rather do it in a more structured way that would allow me to move where the links are displayed via a custom product layout.

I was thinking of there being a facility within the product edit page to browse the local PC for documents in the same way one uploads an image, having come from using Virtue Mart where such a facility exists.

I suppose I'm a little preplexed in that such a feature isn't there already, given how much else Zen Cart does!
