I have just about completed my set-up.
Everything has gone as expected. A few glitches were 'pilot error' - when I found my mistake, everything flew right again...
I got my SSL certificate and got HTTPS running.
I have about 5% of my products loaded.
Now, I notice that the catalog runs in HTTPS (as desired), but when I add items to the Shopping Cart, Firefox complains it is 'transmitting encrypted data to an unencrypted page'. The URL shows HTTP (not HTTPS). When I proceed to checkout, it goes back to HTTPS.
Interestingly, If I click the link to the Shopping Cart (sidebox display), it does not complain about the unencrypted page...
Is this the typical installation configuration?
Or, has 'pilot error' crashed again?
Thanks for the help!
