Hi All
Firstly does Zen Cart have a wish list feature as I don't want to repeat work done by others!
I would like to add a wish list button on the product info page.
Now many of our customers already use:
www.thingsilove.org.uk
And I contacted them about adding a feature to use their site - here is what they said:
I run
www.jorvikgames.co.uk and was wondering if you had some available
web code that I could add to our product listing details so that there was
an easy "add to things I love" button embedded in our site?
A simple form like the following would work
<form action="http://www.thingsilove.org.uk/edit.shtml" method="get">
<input type="hidden" name="name" value="Blah"/>
<input type="hidden" name="sourcelink" value="http://www.jorvikgames.co.uk/blah/blah"/>
<input type="hidden" name="sourceprice" value="10.50"/>
<input type="hidden" name="sourcecurrency" value="gbp"/>
<input type="hidden" name="quantity" value="1"/>
<input type="submit" value="Add to wishlist"/>
</form>
You'd just need your product page to fill in the fields with the appropriate
values.
Chris
Now I know enough to fiddle with basic HTML and make various changes to zen-cart from a layout point of view - but putting is form on a button for the above is beyond me at this point.
Anyone willing to help me get a form on a button sorted for this? - as if it works it can go in the contributions and benefit everyone.
Let me know what is possible for this if you know.
Regards
WOoDY
