Can't find zc_install folder

I have downloaded and unzipped 1.3.8 zencart from sourceforge, and changed all of the permissions to 777. When I type www.mydomain/catalog or www.mydomain/zc_install or www.mydomain./catalog/zc_install into my browser to try and run the installation, all I get is

Not Found

The requested URL /catalog/zc_install/ was not found on this server.
Apache/2.2.3 (CentOS) Server at www.kennedykids.com.au Port 80

I have looked through the unzipped folders and files and can't find a folder called zc_install anywhere. I have downloaded and unzipped the program two times each from the 2 different mirror options given and each of the 4 times, I get the exact same list of folders and files in the "full fileset". I use Firefox for my browser and Filezilla for my FTP as recommended. What am I doing wrong?

Double check as I just dowloaded the zip from the link on this sites home page and it has all the required files & folders including /zc_install

I'm downloading it again (this must be my 7th attempt). I am using the link from the home page that takes me to the sourceforge site. I am then selecting the

zen-cart-v1.3.8a-full-fileset-12112007.zip

fileset to download. Will let you know if it appears this time.
Should it be located in the top group of folders ie with admin, cache etc???

Yes, /zc_install is at the same level as /admin and /cache etc.

Maybe you need to use a different unzip program?
