Default copying a template --> missing sideboxes

    Hi all
I've been mistakenly editing the classic template... for some time now. To make amends I've copied and renamed every instance of a classic folder in the catalog - 10 occurrences - then updated the template_info.php. When I reload my left/right sideboxes are missing. What have I left out?
    Thanks, Steve

Open your Admin> Tools > Layout Boxes Controller and turn the boxes you want back on - They do not carry over from one template to another at this time.
