Price Calculating Incorrectly

Using this product as an examle, quantity of 5000:

The price I have in admin is actually .1080

The display price is rounded up to .11

But the extended price shown is $540 which means it was calculated using the actual price .1080

Now if you add this to the shopping cart it shows the total as $550, which is using the rounded up cost of .11 and tax is calculated on this price, not the actual price shown.

Understandably people are very upset about this cause they think we are trying to rip them off.

Any idea's how to fix this?

I have tonnes of products that have the same problem and this is a live site and people really aren't very happy with us

You would need to do customization on the display prices where they can display additional decimals but not mess up the normal currency decimals ...

Are these prices on the products_price or on Attributes in the options_values_price ...

Where do you need to see this price with the additional decimals?

You say you sell in 5000 lots ... do you need to see this lower price throughout the shop or just on the Product _info page?

The prices are the products_price not Attributes.

Basically what I need it to do is display the unit price in 4 decimals, then calculate the subtotal or extended price THEN round up to two decimal places rather than round up the unit price and calculate from there. It works fine if I switch the currency to 4 decimal places, but confuses the crap out of my customers, so I had to switch it back to 2. Does that make sense?

Do you know where would I find someone to do the customization for me (compensated of course :-) ?
