Default giving each item an add to cart button

Right now, when someone clicks on a product category they are taken to a page with multiple items on that page but only one "add to cart" button, hidden down at the bottom of the page. I would like an "add to cart" button next to each product. How do I do this?

    In your admin panel:

    ADMIN>>>CONFIGURATION>>>PRODUCT LISTING

Find these two settings and alter them to suit your needs:

Display Product Add to Cart Button (0=off; 1=on; 2=on with Qty Box per Product)
Display Multiple Products Qty Box Status and Set Button Location

Not working, have the first one on 2 and the second one on 0, but still have one button on top, one button on the bottom. I also tried to put the second one on 1, to see what happens: nothing, still 1 button on top and 1 on the bottom.

    Using the two settings for:
Display Product Add to Cart Button (0=off; 1=on; 2=on with Qty Box per Product)

Display Multiple Products Qty Box Status and Set Button Location

Set both to 0 - and get the more info links

Set to 1 and 0 - get the Buy Now button

Set to 2 and 0 - get separate Add to Cart and Quantity Box

Set to 1 and 1, 2 or 3 - get the Quantity Box and the Add to Cart at the Top, Bottom or Both

If you do not get these settings, try switching to the Classic Template to see if it is your template ...

    Thanks for your help, Linda.

I switched to classic green, but no difference and then I saw what was the problem. "Product listing" is not working for "all products". That is what "all products" is for. I just totally overlooked that option.

    2 more questions
separate Add to Cart and Quantity Box doesn't seem possible with "all products" or can it be done?

With an advanced search (like price from 10€ to 20€) there is always the Quantity Box and the Add to Cart at the Top and Bottom without possibility to change that?

The search will work based on how you have the Product Listing setup ...

The All Products only has a choice of the Quantity box with the two Add to cart buttons or the Buy Now buttons on each Product, but not with the quantity box ...

All clear and search is working, must have changed settings back when testing.

    Thanks!
