Couple quick questions - First Zen Cart

I am just setting up my first Zen Cart and have a few questions.

First, I do not want the "0 units in stock" to display in the product listing. Can I get rid of that?

Second, I am selling cabinet knobs and each of my products have a left and a right model... I need to allow the shopper to choose how many left facing and how many right facing of a certain product they want... is there a way to do this?

Also, I've run into this problem twice in a row now. I get halfway through setting up my store and somewhere along the way, the add to cart button will just send me to a blank white page... what am I doing wrong?
