Developing an Intabill Module by adapting from the Nochex APC Module?

There isn't a module for Intabill (with whom I have a merchant account). I am a hard working/learning non-technical person, and I have done enough digging to come to the conclusion that the Nochex APC Module (1.2) can be adapted for Intabill's "hosted sales page" integration method. They seem to work in similar fashion.

I believe that I can do all the conversion work myself (by replacing "nochex" with "intabill" in all the files and file names). But I need an expert to make sure that it works and perhaps modify some codes, if that is necessary.

Intabill's support staff concurs with the approach but cannot help with ZC module codes review. But they gave me the following instruction:

The parameters that you need to send to the intabill hosted sales page are:
SiteID*
Product*
Amount*
Currency
seed
custom
FirstName
LastName
Address

State
OtherState --for outside the US
Country
ZipCode
Phone
Email
CardNumber
ExpiryMonth
ExpiryYear
CardCVV

*these parameters are absolutely needed - you can't load the hosted sales page without these.

So a link to our hosted sales page would either look like this:

If you need to have a customer/session/sale reference sent and received with the transaction (so your site can tell what transaction it is getting confirmation for) then you can put it into the seed or the custom parameters - these are not used for processing - just as a way for you to send a customer reference number in.

Once the transaction is processed you will get all the transaction details back again using the postback URL (in intabill under Website Management).

Could anybody comment on whether I am on the right track? Also, I am looking for a commercial quote for helping me to get this module up (please PM me.)
