Is it possible to compress the content of this folder without deleting any products ?

Not really at the folder level. Have you already optimized the image files within it?

In that case, other than weeding out any images not actually in use, there's probably no more that you can do. Most image formats that you are likely to be using (jpg, gif and png) already have internal compression and you can't make the folder smaller than the sum of its contents.
The image folder on most of the projects that I work on ends up dwarfing the rest of the site. What is motivating you to want to reduce the size of your one?Kuroi Web Design and Development | Twitter
