    Default Font size changer

As per phpbb3, for example, and myriad other websites - an 'ud/down arrow' that when clicked enlarges all font sizes by a certain amount. I would have though (which means its probably nothing like this at all) that it would be a relatively simple switch, with the link taking the browser between three or four independent versions of the css file? Izzat how it works?

It is generally thought of as 'bad practice' to hard-code the font-sizes into a website, instead, zencart uses font percentages liberally.

Also, every browser has options to increase/decrease text size locally, which is usually a better solution. Also, Firefox users can CTRL+ or CTRL- the entire site (images and table and divs and everything.)

It's usually done with javascript. Google for "font size changer javascript" and you'll get lots of advice.

I don't bother doing that on sites I work on, because as Tim says, users can adjust things themselves using their browser's built-in abilities. But I have seen that little tool appearing on more sites. I just ignore it.

Is there one file (CSS?) where I can adjust the base font size?

WONDERFUL! Thanks. This software is AWESOME!

I changed the body font from 62.5% to 80% and everything looks fantastic!
