i have just purchased a template from templatemonst worked on for about a week. still having problems. just found out that it is 1.3.6 and it wo'n't work with 1.3.8a . where can i get my hands on free template or inexspensive templates (zen cart 1.3.8a) that i can use along with a help guide.

Did you checked the "Free Software Add Ons" section?
In the subcategory Template Packages you'll find lots of templates.
