Ability to Install or Remove shipping choices has disappeared under Admin section?

Using ver 1.3.8a. After removing USPS shipping choice I can no longer Install, Remove or Edit anything in the Shipping Module Section. Section usually located to the right of the screen has vanished. Is there a way to repair the Shipping Module Section of ZenCart without reinstalling complete program? Payment and Order Total Sections still display ability to Install, Remove or Edit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Shipping modules come in sets of 2 files: a module, and its language file.
If you have either of the 2 files missing, an error occurs. Usually the error message is shown on the screen, but sometimes not. Either way, it stops the rest of the screen from drawing.

Check your /includes/languages/english/modules/shipping folder for ALL files with ".php" as the ending.
Compare those with /includes/modules/shipping
Get rid of any files that don't have a matching partner.

Quite often I find people rename some aspect of the first part of the filename but leave the ".php" on the end. But, that causes problems. Eventually they figure out that they should use ".bak" or ".old" or ".orig" or something else.

THANKS!!!!!! a MILLION DrByte. I had just installed the USPS International Priority Mail update and instead of deleteing the usps.php file under /includes/modules/shipping I just renamed it usps_old.php. So there was no matching usps_old.php under the /includes/languages/english/modules/shipping. Just to test I made sure there were matching files under both directories. Everything is back to normal. THANK GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!! This cart has run flawlessly for over (2) years until I applied this update. Again, Thanks SO................ MUCH...................... for the quick response and solution!!!!!!!!!!
