Added new product and extra images were added with it? (not wanted)

Hello. I added a new product and 1 image. When I went to the store to check if all was well, I noticed that 2 extra images for different products were added to the page as well.

How do I get rid of the extras and how do I prevent this from happening again?

Your shop is invoking the "additional images" feature that is inherent in ZC.

Your MAIN image is titled:-

cherry.jpg

But you have 2 other images titled:-

cherry_round.jpg
cherry_square.jpg

What ZC does, is look at the image BASE name (in your case "cherry", and then it assumes that images that are named "cherry_xxxxxxxx.jpg" are associated with the main image called "cherry".

It's fundamentally about what appears AFTER an UNDERSCORE in an image name, as ZC assumes the BASE NAME is "cherry" and that any image called "cherry_xxxxxx is an additional image.

To resolve this, you need to be more specific with your BASE IMAGE names.

EG: cherry_round.jpg should just be cherryround.jpg (without the underscore, as the underscore is a key factor in the "additional images" ID process.)
