Page Title, can't figure it out

This is an almost embarrassing question. But I could not figure out how to change the page titles. I am using the template zj_silver. (Need to change Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce" to my own)

I need to change the page titles on all pages. I found such settings under includes/language/english.php, but it made no effect when I updated the file. I tried the search feature but I could not find an answer.

Also my shopping cart content page has the following text: ou may want to add some instructions for using the shopping cart here. (defined in includes/languages/english/shopping_cart.php)

Changing the content of that text in the shopping_cart.php file also makes no effect. I am confused and would appreciate if someone can help me with this questions.

Edit meta_tags.php (located in includes/languages/english folder) and change

define('TITLE', 'Your Title');

// Site Tagline
define('SITE_TAGLINE', 'Your Tagline')

Have you checked

define('TEXT_INFORMATION', 'You may want to add some instructions for using the shopping cart here. (defined in includes/languages/english/shopping_cart.php)');

Also check if you have overriding language files (usualy a folder same as the template name, located in includes/langages/english)

No, this is the URL from the page

I do find that line of text in the shopping_cart.php file, but updating the changed file doesn't make a difference. It must be somewhere else other than that file.

Then use Developers Tool Kit (in your admin area Tools --> Developers Tool Kit) and search for "add some instructions for using the shopping cart here".

You'll get all the pages that have this text.

Edit them, and everything should be OK.

Looks like your are using the 'zj_silver' Template which means the override system is in effect.

includes/languages/english/zj_silver/shopping_cart.php

is the page would want to edit.

If you don't have that page then copy the one from the 'english' dir. and save it as above.

This is just a rehash of what George has already stated but perhaps more specific.
